Move Notion Mail drafts and scheduled emails into Gmail.

Export snippets and auto-label instructions. Download any files attached to snippets separately.

Write down the views and sorting you want to rebuild. Rebuild email reminders elsewhere; they do not transfer to Gmail.

If you use a synced Notion database, plan a separate replacement. Existing email stays, but new messages stop syncing after shutdown.

What stays, what needs saving, and whether Mejl works with your email.
Will drafts and scheduled mail be lost if I miss September 21?
Yes. Notion says unsaved drafts and scheduled emails are permanently deleted at shutdown. Move them to Gmail by September 21, 2026.
Will Notion’s Gmail AI Connector, mail blocks, and agent mail tools still work?
Yes, per Notion. Those Gmail tools and existing mail blocks continue after shutdown. Mejl is a separate Gmail client and does not replace them.
Can I recreate auto-label rules on Free, or only Plus?
Export your instructions first. Recreate exact rules as Gmail filters into views on Mejl Free. Optional Plus uses view descriptions for AI sorting. Notion rules do not import automatically.
What happens to email reminders and snippet attachments?
They do not transfer to Gmail. Download snippet files separately before shutdown and rebuild reminders elsewhere.
Will I lose my email when Notion Mail shuts down?
No. Notion confirms that sent and received messages already live in Gmail and remain there after the Notion Mail inbox shuts down.
Do I need to migrate my Gmail messages into Mejl?
No. Sign in with Google and Mejl works with the mail already in Gmail. There is no separate mailbox to import or keep in sync.
Can I move my Notion Mail views into Mejl?
Not automatically. Notion says custom views and sorting do not transfer. Note the views you want to keep and recreate them in Mejl, where each view stays connected to a Gmail label.
Does Mejl replace Notion Mail’s email-to-database sync?
No. Existing synced databases and views remain in Notion, but Notion says new mail stops syncing after September 22. Mejl is a Gmail client and does not sync messages into Notion databases.
Does Mejl work with Outlook or IMAP?
No. Mejl works exclusively with Gmail for now. It does not support Outlook or general IMAP accounts.
