A few plain answers before you choose a plan.
Is Mejl really free?
Yes. You can read and write email, organize Gmail into focused views, create Gmail-backed rules, and use snippets without a subscription. The Free plan has no time limit. Mejl Plus is optional and adds automatic sorting and writing tools.
When should I upgrade to Mejl Plus?
Upgrade when you want Mejl to sort new mail from a description of each view, or rewrite text you select while composing. If you prefer Gmail-backed rules and writing without those tools, Free is enough.
Can I use Mejl Plus on iPhone?
Yes. Plus follows your Mejl account, so its features are available on web and iPhone after the subscription is active. New subscriptions, payment methods, invoices, and cancellations are managed on the web through Stripe.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You can cancel through the Stripe billing portal or by contacting support. Plus stays active until the end of the current paid period. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
How does Mejl use AI?
Writing tools process only the text you select. Automatic sorting processes relevant message content, sender and recipient information, and label information. Mejl uses this data only to provide these features and instructs its AI providers not to use it for model training.
Does my email stay in Gmail?
Yes. Mejl works with the messages, labels, and filters already in Gmail. It does not ask you to move mail into a separate mailbox. Mejl supports Gmail accounts only for now.
What about taxes and billing?
Stripe calculates any applicable tax and shows the final amount before you subscribe. Stripe also handles checkout, invoices, payment methods, and the billing portal.
